Welcome to Department of Physics, P.V.P. Mahavidyalaya Kavathe Mahankal. Our department established in 1991. Physics is fundamental science that is key to finding the solutions. At under graduate level, we offer B.Sc. in Physics that prepare students for wide range of career in academia, Medical field, Industry, Space research and beyond. Our graduate program is designed to provide strong foundation in fundamentals of Physics. This program also puts lot of emphasis on developing skills like critical thinking, problem solving and communication that are important in career. The Department encourage the students to explore their interest for career development and for research. We have linkages with Physics department of other Institute to provide and exchange new opportunities to students for their bright future. We are also committed to engaging with the broader public and communicating the excitement and relevance of Physics to the society at large.
