I am honoured and humbled to serve as the Principal of this esteemed institute which is committed to promoting excellence in education, social and cultural values and humane ethics. We believe in promoting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research programs that encourage innovation and address real-world problems. Our goal is to provide our students with the necessary skills to be successful in their chosen careers and to make a positive impact on society.

In addition to our academic programs, we also offer value-added courses that are designed to enhance the employability of our students. These courses focus on developing skills that are in high demand in the current job market. We also offer skill enhancement courses that aim to improve the soft skills of our students, which are critical for success in any field. Sports and cultural programs are an integral part of our institution. We believe that extracurricular activities play a significant role in providing a well-rounded education to our students. Our sports facilities provide students with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and determination. We are actively working towards implementing the recommendations of the NEP, including promoting multidisciplinary learning, creating a flexible and innovative curriculum, and developing skills that are essential for success in the 21st century. In keeping with this mission and to further strengthen access to advanced learning for rural youth, the college has recently introduced postgraduate programmes in M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry, M.Com. Accountancy, M.A. English and M.A. Political Science, thereby expanding opportunities for higher studies and research within the local vicinity and meeting the aspirations of first-generation learners from the surrounding villages. These new programmes complement the existing traditional degree streams and reflect the institution’s continuous efforts to respond to regional needs, enhance academic excellence and support vertical mobility for its students.
