Various competitions like poster presentation competition, wallpaper presentation, and Diagnostic tests for first-year students will be organized 3. Department will celebrate the birth anniversaries of William Shakespeare and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, with one activity conducted under an MoU with Smt. Kasturbai Walchand College, Sangli 4. An industrial visit to Hinjewadi is also planned 5. Workshop on research methodology and seminar on IPR will be organized 6. Faculties will complete their FDP in the upcoming year 7. All faculties have agreed to publish at least one research paper in the academic year 2023-24
2 2019-20 1. Conduct an elocution competition to promote public speaking skills among students. 2. Introduce an essay competition on a relevant literary theme to encourage critical thinking and writing skills. 3. Implement a syllabus change to incorporate new literary works and critical theories to keep the curriculum updated and engaging
3 2020-21 1. Organize a wallpaper presentation event where students can showcase their creative interpretations of literary works through visual art. 2. Host a poster presentation session for students to present their research findings on a chosen literary topic. 3. Conduct workshops on academic writing and research skills to enhance students' abilities in producing quality essays and research papers
4 2021-22 1. Expand the elocution competition to include different genres such as poetry recitation and dramatic monologues. 2. Collaborate with other departments to organize interdisciplinary essay competitions to foster a holistic approach to learning. 3. Introduce a literary club for students to engage in regular discussions, book readings, and literary events outside the classroom.
5 2023-24 1. Launch a digital storytelling project where students create multimedia presentations based on literary texts or themes. 2. Incorporate a community outreach program into the department's activities, such as organizing storytelling sessions at local schools or community centers. 3. Host a grand finale event at the end of the academic year to showcase students' achievements in various competitions and activities, recognizing their hard work and creativity.
